MUSIC FOR STUDENTS

Featuring McGill University’s Schulich School of Music

This concert series exposes both high school and elementary students to a variety of instrumental musical genres. The four concerts are designed to captivate the imagination of performer and listener alike by bringing young virtuosos together with young audiences.

Includes:
• A pre-concert visit to your school by George Doxas, the Segal Centre’s Director of Music Development
• 45-min. workshop with the musicians the day of the concert
• 1 hour music concert

Learning about what is involved in mastering an instrument gives new insight into classical music performance. - 2009
