A Broadway favourite, Same Time, Next Year was described by the New York Times as "the funniest comedy about love and adultery to come to Broadway". The play follows the twenty-five year love affair of Doris and George (married – but not to each other) who meet for one weekend a year. A metaphor for the changing moral landscape of post-war United States, Same Time, Next Year is a charming and poignant story that explores the complexities of love and human relationships.

Can one be a Catholic priest and an observant Jew at the same time? 12 years after he was ordained as a Polish Catholic priest, Romuald Waszkinel discovered that he was born to Jewish parents, and that his name was Jacob Weksler. Torn follows his amazing journey from conducting mass in a church in Poland to life as an observant Jew on a religious kibbutz in Israel.

Rabbi Leigh Lerner will animate the evening.

The screening will be followed by coffee and refreshments.

In January 2012 a group of eight Montrealers traveled to Ethiopia on a humanitarian mission. Federation CJA and its YAD FedNext Campaign presents a silent auction and vernissage benefiting the Na’eh Youth Outreach Centre in Beer Sheva.
