On September 11, 2014 (to the day) the venerable Oliver Jones will turn 80 years young and the Segal Centre invites you to join in the festivities! Celebrate a life lived in jazz with one of Canada's great living musical legends as we launch a new season of the always-inspiring Power Jazz Series.
Accompanied by singer Ranee Lee and 14-year old piano prodigy Daniel Clarke Bouchard, and backed by Éric Lagacé on bass and Jim Doxas on drums, Jones returns to the Studio to delight his fans with his masterful demonstration of piano artistry and incomparable repertoire.

Prolific trumpet player Joe Sullivan and his celebrated Big Band have been a major presence on the Canadian jazz scene since 1998. He returns to the Segal Centre for a concert featuring guitarist Lorne Lofsky, formerly of the Oscar Peterson Trio, and saxophonist Kirk MacDonald, one of Canada's premiere jazz saxophonists. |
