Legendary American bassist and composer Steve Swallow joins local favourites Doxas Brothers and pianist Andre White for an unforgettable evening of instrumental jazz!

With Swallow on bass, Chet Doxas on saxophone, Jim Doxas on drums, and Andre White on piano, the group will draw upon the vast original repertoire of each of its members as well as some of their favourite songs from the Great American songbook.

This is a rare opportunity for jazz lovers to see award-winning electric bassist Steve Swallow up close and personal, as he has established an international reputation by lending his talents to groups led by Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Stan Getz, Chick Corea and many more. Swallow's memorable compositions include "Falling Grace", "Olhos del Gato" and "Como en Vietnam."

Bravo Series

One of Montreal's premiere all-female choirs, under the direction of internationally-renowned Maestro Iwan Edwards, perform an afternoon of love songs, romantic compositions and folk songs.

On the programme: original compositions by Lana Walter, Eleanor Daley, Georges Bizet and Gabriel Fauré, Hebrew love songs by Eric Whitacre, and a few contemporary favourites.

Concerto Della Donna is a dynamic group of 18 young women, aged 17 to 31, who hail from across Canada. Based in Montreal, CDD members are university students, music teachers, community organizers, nurses, as well as jazz, folk, and classical musicians in their own right.
