One of Montreal's premiere all-female choirs, under the direction of internationally-renowned Maestro Iwan Edwards, perform an afternoon of love songs, romantic compositions and folk songs.
On the programme: original compositions by Lana Walter, Eleanor Daley, Georges Bizet and Gabriel Fauré, Hebrew love songs by Eric Whitacre, and a few contemporary favourites.
Concerto Della Donna is a dynamic group of 18 young women, aged 17 to 31, who hail from across Canada. Based in Montreal, CDD members are university students, music teachers, community organizers, nurses, as well as jazz, folk, and classical musicians in their own right.
