MONTREAL — [...] YIDDISH THEATER
The Segal Centre for Performing Arts caps off their theater season with the Yiddish-language production of “On Second Avenue,” a musical that pays tribute to the Golden Era of Yiddish theater set in Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
The cast is huge, the evening lighthearted, and all can follow along as subtitles are displayed on stage. Best of all, Segal alum Bryna Wasserman returns to co-direct.
“On Second Avenue” is presented June 10 to July 1.
