MONTREAL - Montreal’s hyperactive theatre scene is barely allowing people (especially critics) time to recover from the holiday season before piling on the shows.

- - - The action at the Segal Centre starts early, too, with Teesri Duniya’s Bhopal, by Rahul Varma, running Jan. 15 to Feb. 2 at the Segal Studio theatre. Tickets cost $15.

On the Segal Centre mainstage, the regular season continues with Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, directed by Peter Hinton, starring Lucy Peacock and Diane D’Aquila, running Feb. 2 to 16. Tickets cost $24 (students) to $49. Call 514-739-7944 or visit segalcentre.org.
