Coup de Coeur
The Festival TransAmériques (FTA)
Courtesy of Elaine Normandeau, Interim Associate Producer, Production.
"The Festival TransAmériques (FTA) is a yearly opportunity for performing arts loving Montrealers to see some of the best work from here and away, to discover other perspectives and sensibilities. The highlights of this year's line-up of theatre and dance include Winners and Losers directed by Segal favourite Chris Abraham as well as the meditative Birds with Skymirrors by Samoan choreographer Lemi Ponifasio, the powerful Ganesh vs the Third Reich from Melbourne's Back to Back Theatre, the trash German/Swedish/Finnish Conte d'amour and a bunch of dachshund in a U.N. setting. Most plays are presented with English and French surtitles. Until June 8th.
