"Denise Filiatrault's french-language adaptation of the Broadway hit Hairspray has everyone talking. Presented as part of Juste pour rire at Théâtre St. Denis, this wildly entertaining show boasts a large ensemble cast of both established and rising stars, including Juno Award-winning Kim Richardson, who performed here as part of our Power Jazz Series this past March, and Segal Wandering Stars alums Aiza Ntibarikure, Alexia Gourd and Vladimir Alexis. I am delighted to see these incredibly talented performers graduate to the big stage. You can catch both Kim and Aiza again on our stage as they star in our 2013-2014 season opener, Ain't Misbehavin'. Hairspray runs until August 30th at Théâtre St. Denis.
