MAY 2014: SPRING FEVER!
Seven fierce women take center stage every night, a company of over 20 community performers learn the songs for a world-premiere Yiddish musical; comedy shows, concerts and film screenings fill our halls and aspiring young artists have their first experience in the spotlight: it must be Spring at the Segal! Heartfelt congratulations to our Segal Academy students who will be performing for family and friends at the inaugural Azrieli Youth Festival at the end of the month.
Spring is also the season of renewal! If you have not yet renewed your subscription, remember to do so by May 18th to guarantee your same seats. If you have never subscribed, this year is the year to do so.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Lisa Rubin,
Artistic and Executive Director

"I got the chance last week to check out an early preview of Cabaret at the Shaw Festival. It is a stunning production directed and designed by Segal favourites, Peter Hinton and Michael Gianfrancesco. Deb Hayes, Gray Powell and Juan Chioran are fantastic as Sally Bowles, Clifford Bradshaw and the Emcee. The supporting cast is superb. Corrine Koslo deserves special mention for her Fraulein Schneider. Plays until October 26th at the Shaw's Festival Theatre. Congrats to Jackie Maxwell and all." - Paul Flicker
